All donations big or small are welcomed. Your generous donation will go towards our mental health initiatives such as our Ethan's Healthy Mind Express: Literature in the Classroom Series, book publishing, and other educational costs that help people understand autism, neurodiversity, inclusion, internet safety, and emotional support. We invite everyone to come onboard our mental wellness train!
Ethan Bean, was a deeply caring and intellectual young man, but he exhibited several behaviors as "atypical" (neurodiverse) and he struggled socially. Ethan found himself in the juvenile justice system due to a mood regulation disorder. However, he did well in school and had many interests including playing the saxophone (he earned his band letter for it), had aspirations to be a commercial airline pilot, and loved any form of transportation. At the time of his death, he was working regularly at a job he obtained and during a busy summer where he recently visited a college of his dreams, as well as a vacation with his family in Arizona and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. For his approaching senior year in high school, he was registered in a dual enrollment community college program.
The Ethan Bean Mental Wellness Foundation is dedicated to examining the efficacy of ongoing mental health treatment, drug intervention, effects of social media, use of technology, and socialization in order to help remove societal stigma and improve acceptance/tolerance of those with mental health conditions as well as those that are uniquely lined. The goal is to learn better ways to support those who are different and accept them for their everyday obstacles.
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.
Ethan Bean Mental Wellness Foundation does not and will not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, gender identification, color, religion (creed), age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its operations and/or activities.
